The device can be used around the eyes, but we strongly recommend avoiding using the light directly over the eyelids.

Red and Infrared light therapy or also other known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is considered to be a safe and painless type of treatment. Having said that, below is the list of conditions that are recommended for avoiding the use of the device:

• Taking photosensitive medications
• Have seizures that are triggered by flashing or/and bright lights
• Thyroid complications
• Undergoing radiation treatments for any cancer-related conditions
• Pregnancy

Generally, it will take 6-8 weeks to fully see the results, but you can start noticing the improvements in overall complexion in as little as a couple of weeks. We recommend being consistent and treating the problem areas at least 3 times a week for the first 2 months. Spend 3-5 minutes on each area to achieve a maximum therapeutic effect.

As we age, it takes longer to complete the cell’s turnover cycle. The new layer of the skin needs to surface before you can fully appreciate the results of your efforts. We recommend using gentle exfoliation as part of your skincare routine and generous use of sunblock to minimize UV damage to the new skin layer.

The short answer is - absolutely not. The purpose of serum is to enhance the treatment. If you feel that it is not easy for you to move the treatment head over the skin - putting a thin layer of the serum of your choice, will definitely solve that. Besides that – there is a heat mode that is accompanying the treatment, so expect the blood circulation to increase and that will in turn improve the absorption of any vitamin-rich product that you chose to use. We recommend that whatever you chose to use – has a rather thin consistency and does not clog the device. Just make sure to wipe it off after the treatment.

Please make light contact with the skin or simply hoover over the treatment area. You do not need to make full contact with the skin to achieve an optimum therapeutic effect.

Most of our customers will use 2 main modes – Red LED and Infrared Mode. To put it simply, Red LED – is excellent at stimulating collagen and cellular repair at the very surface of the skin. Infrared light – do that as well by reaching deeper layers. So it makes sense to incorporate both modes and alternate them or use Infrared + Red LED. Keep in mind that that particular function is touch activated, and if you use Red LED you can just hover over the desired treatment areas.

If one of your main concerns is age spots – using Green light can be very effective as it causes to reduce the production of melanin in the cells. It will also help with tiny spider veins or redness as it reduces inflammation.

If you are suffering from inflammatory acne – the Blue light is very effective. It works by disturbing the normal metabolism of the acne-causing bacteria, which is very sensitive to that wavelength of light. Please keep in mind, that it will not however help much in case of hormonal cystic acne.
